It's a one-time security step. After you sign up, we email you a confirmation link (valid 48 hours). Clicking it activates your trial and shows your firm code — and it ensures the email on the account is really yours, since that's where password resets and your firm code go. Didn't get it? Check spam (Outlook/Hotmail can take a few minutes), use the Resend button, or email support@smartcabuddy.com.

Your firm code (like ABC-001) identifies your firm at sign-in — you enter it along with your email and password. It's shown when you confirm your email and again in your welcome email. Forgot it? On the sign-in page click "Forgot your firm code? Email it to me" and we'll send it to your registered email.

Yes — SmartCABuddy is GST-registered. Prices are exclusive of 18% GST, which is added at payment, and you receive a proper GST tax invoice for every payment. Share your firm's GSTIN and you can claim the full input tax credit — so for most firms the effective cost is the base price.

Right in the app. Sign in as the firm owner, open Subscribe in the menu, pick your plan, number of users and tenure — the exact amount (with GST break-up) is calculated for you. Then pay by UPI (scan the QR — the amount is pre-filled) or bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), tell us you've paid, and we activate your subscription — usually within a few working hours. Card/netbanking checkout via payment gateway is coming soon.

There are 5 roles (Owner, Admin, Manager, Team Member, Trainee) and the owner sets a permission matrix — tick-box control over ~15 abilities like seeing fees, exporting data, or viewing all engagements. By default, fees and financial reports stay owner-only. Trainees see only their own assigned work — never your client master.
